Week One Highlights:
Angels 7, Dodgers 4 - Jordan Orringer led the Angels (1-0) with 2 hits and two runs scored as the Angels scored 5 runs in the 6th inning to overtake and beat the Dodgers who had been leading for most of the afternoon. Danny Chavez and Preston Warick had two hits each for the Dodgers (0-1).

NV Twins 16, Astros 15 - In a wild one at North Hills, the Twins (1-0)  blew an early 8-2 lead and were behind 15-10 going into the bottom of the 7th before scoring 6 runs on the Astros (0-1) for a wild come from behind victory.

Blue Jays 15, Tigers 5 - Abe Osuna had 4 hits and James An, David Leong and Thomas Rohrback all added 3 hits apiece for the Blue Jays (1-0). Blake Thompsen led the Tigers (0-1)  with two hits and turned two sparkling double plays from the shortstop position.

 

Week Two Highlights:
Blue Jays 18, Angels 7
Abe Osuna went 4 for 4 for the second week in a row to lead the Blue Jays (2-0) over the Angels (1-1).  Osuna has reached base 9 times without being retired as the Blue Jays have scored 33 runs in their first two games.

Tigers 10, NV Twins 6
The visiting Tigers (1-1) notched their first win of the season at North Valley beating the twins (1-1) behind the strong pitching effort of Ryan D'Amico who gave up only two unearned runs in four innings of work.

Dodgers 9, Astros 5
Arthur Chavez led the Dodgers (1-1) with two doubles, three runs scored, and four shutout innings.  The Astros (0-2) made another valiant comeback attempt for the second week in a row only to fall short again.

 

Week Three Highlights:
Blue Jays 7, Dodgers 5
Thomas Rohrback came on to get a game ending strikeout with the tying runs on base for the Blue Jays (3-0) as they remain undefeated.  Daniel Wagner scored two runs and had 2 RBI's to lead the Dodgers (2-2).

Angels 7, NV Twins 2
Kyle Kinlaw and Jose Medina combined to allow only two runs over 7 innings to propel the second place Angels (3-1) to a victory over the twins (1-3) at North Valley.  Angel Morales tripled off the center field fence and threw out 5 would-be base stealers.

Astros 15, Tigers 3
The Astros (1-2) earned their first win of the season by scoring 10 runs in the first inning and coasting to a victory against the Tigers (1-3).

 

Week 4 Highlights:
Astros 6,  Blue Jays 5
Duke Pagan singled home Kyle Hill with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 6th inning as the Astros (2-3) held on to beat the Blue Jays (4-1) who took their first loss of the season.

Dodgers 6, NV Twins 1
Danny Chavez had a double and a triple to lead the Dodgers (3-3) over the Twins (1-5) at North Valley.  Preston Warrick, Daniel Wagner, and Arthur Chavez combined to allow only one run on the day.

Angels 9, Tigers 5

Week 5 Highlights:
Dodgers 10, Tigers 3 - Danny Chavez had 4 hits to lead the Dodgers (5-3) to the victory over the Tigers (3-5). Nareg Kechichian and Sergio Escobedo also had two hits apiece for the Dodgers who broke open a close game by scoring 6 runs in the  6th inning.

Blue Jays 15, NV Twins 10 - Brian Kary hit a 3-run inside- the- park homerun to tie the game 7-7 in the 4th inning and the Blue Jays (6-2) never looked back as they defeat the Twins (2-6) at North Valley.

Astros 10, Angels 9 - Anthony Gutierrez had three hits and Duke Pagan tripled twice for the Astros (3-5) as they held on to beat the Angels (5-3) who had the tying run on base in the last inning only to fall short by a run. Angel Morales slugged a two-run homerun in the 6th for the Angels.

Blue Jays 13, Angels 3 - With this victory over the Angels (5-4), the Blue Jays (7-2) clinched at least a tie as the 1st half champions.

Astros 7, Dodgers 3 - Behind Anthony Gutierrez's four hits and the pitching of Kyle Hill and Jake Domine, the Astros (4-5) beat the Dodgers (5-4) evening their season series.  With the Dodgers loss, the Blue Jays are the 1st half champions.  Congratulations to the Blue Jays who have earned a berth into the championship game to be played on closing day, May 19th.  The second half of the season begins with the games of April 14th.
